Established in 1999, Gulf Elevators & Escalators Co. Ltd. introduced locally manufactured Fuji-branded elevators and escalators to the Saudi and MENA markets. The company played a foundational role in developing local production capabilities for vertical transportation systems.

Its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Jeddah was the first of its kind in the region and remains a central pillar of national production capacity. The facility operates under a certified Quality Management System and utilizes advanced production planning and ERP systems to ensure operational efficiency and product consistency.

Over the years, GEEC has established a strong regional presence, supporting large-scale developments with locally manufactured systems that meet international standards.
